“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16
Shall we be people living by our flesh or instead living by the Spirit? This question makes no sense to those without an understanding in what Christ has done on the cross and a belief in him. His gift though, to help us live for his glory, was the Spirit. The Spirit that might empower us to be holy and pursue righteousness above what our culture indicates might be good goals. Galatians presents this as an either or proposition. You walk by the Spirit or you walk by the flesh. There is no middle, no grey area.
Today, as you trust in Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection, walk in the Spirit.
